Today I went out to check in on a number of things. One was to get some pictures of the state of the medians to add to a presentation I have been invited to do for the Glen Park Garden Club. They are sweet to ask me. I just hope I can sound intelligent enough and get them to laugh a time or three.
Another task was to asses the water situation. To my surprise, with no water in over one month, things look good. I will douse some on the newly set Echeveria secunda's though.
So the Agave vilmoriniana is at its' peak, its' summit, its' cuties, its' triumph, its' it's end. I am getting nervous too that there are not any bulbils I can see forming right now as expected- but I am not giving up hope. After all, this is what it does to reproduce. I hope I can get some plants going for the next generation.
